An example of your Week Itinerary ...

Here is an example of our week during a holiday in the countryside:

Saturday - Arrival day. We will have you picked up at the airport & taken to your chosen hotel or villa. On this day we will arrange an evening meal so we can get together and share some time getting to know each other.

Sunday - Beginning our work. This first morning will be a chance for all of us to discuss any ideas you may have, themes or things you would really love to incorporate in your work, so we can get a good idea of what we can help you achieve during your stay with us. This will also be the time our tutors will go over any health and safety info & talk a little of themselves & their experience, also show examples of their artworks.  If there is still time we will start our projects. Stop for lunch. Afternoon working on our projects until approx 5.30. Return to Almunecar

Monday - Mornings will be a chance to learn about any interesting techniques our tutors might have learned over the years, ask as many questions as you like, take notes & photos as you wish. Resume working on our projects until lunch. A gentle walk in the local countryside with a picnic of wonderful local produce, a chance to breathe & relax in the pure mountain air & take photos (weather dependent). Return to the villa/house and resume our projects until approx 5.30. Return to Almunecar

Tuesday - Morning tutorial & continuing with our projects until lunch. After buffet lunch resume working on our artworks until approx 5.30. Return to Almunecar

Wednesday - Morning tutorial & continuing with our artworks. Picnic lunch after a lovely gentle walk in the countryside, maybe even picking fruit as we go, or gathering wild lavender & rosemary from the mountains. Resume projects until 5.30. Return to Almunecar

Thursday - Morning tutorial & resuming our pieces of art. Buffet lunch. Resuming our artworks until approx 5.30. Return to Almunecar

Friday - A day out in Almunecar. Friday is market day... a chance to shop for crafts, bargains, gifts & treats, people flock to Almunecar market as there is always something interesting to see! We can take a stroll around town, the old town is full of winding streets full of little boutiques, shops & squares. The sculpture park is a tropical arboretum & has stunning original sculptures illustrating Phoenician/Syrian mythology & history, celebrating the historical ties between this area of Spain & Arabic culture over hundreds of years. Also here are the Phoenician & Roman ruins of salt & fish processing, overlooked by the Arabic castle atop the cliffs. After a lovely stroll & shopping we will have lunch in town and then carry on a little more with our day in Almunecar.

Saturday - Departure day. We will leave for Malaga airport at 9.30am. If this is too late for your flight home don't worry we will organise transport for you.
